The event achieved coordination across all departments with full employee participation and turned out to be vivid and rewarding. It consisted of four competition events: table tennis, billiards, Chinese chess and slow bicycle riding, attracting a total of 30 participants. Zhai Jinshuang, General Manager of the company, also attended and took part in the competition in person, adding great splendor to the whole activity.
The on-site organization of the table tennis tournament won unanimous praise from colleagues. They commented that though all participants were amateur players, the event was arranged with professional standards — we even had an electronic scoreboard on site! No matter what we do, we always devote ourselves wholeheartedly and take things seriously. The men’s singles final was an intense showdown between top contenders, filling everyone with excitement. The men’s table tennis champion received countless admiring glances and cheers from female colleagues of all ages after claiming victory.
The last event to kick off was the Chinese chess competition. As the quintessence of Chinese traditional culture, Chinese chess embodies the core essence of our civilization. Influenced by Confucianism, it advocates the doctrine of the mean and order, stresses the balance between offense and defense, as well as collaborative coordination. All spectators on site abided by the traditional code "A true gentleman refrains from commenting while watching a chess game" and exercised self-discipline, cheering enthusiastically for all participating colleagues.
The competitions kicked off at 1 p.m. and concluded at 5 p.m. Top three winners were selected from the Production, R&D, General Management, Materials, Human Resources and After-sales departments respectively.
